David McSweeney

David is an Associate of Chartered Accountants Australia + New Zealand and Fellow of The Tax Institute. He also holds a Financial Services limited licence and is a Licenced Real Estate Agent, specialising in superannuation and real property transactions.

David is responsible for managing client portfolios, consulting in areas of business structuring, taxation strategies and accounting, overseeing compliance programs, and managing the day-to-day operations of the firm.

Before joining McSweeney CA in June 2003, he worked as a client manager in the legal sector of Unisearch at the University of NSW and has also held management positions within the tourism and hospitality industry.

David has a Masters Degree in Accounting and holds a Certificate in Japanese Linguistics. He has a strong sense of service delivery, people skills and a focus on marketing and business development.

He enjoys spending time with his beautiful family, and has interests in photography, motorcycles, mechanics and information technology.
